The idea of cooking on anything but gas in the house is disheartening to me. But now it looks like cooking with gas causes health issues so i might have to switch.

17 years using electric and our 1st anniversary in our new house was a couple days ago has a gas stove. Now they trying to ban it so if anything breaks I’ll have to convert back to bum ass electric :beli:

That’s why they have range hoods….use it whenever you cook. Make sure you have a true range hood that ducts to the outside and not that bullshyt microwave over the stove and there won’t be any problems.

Finally bushed my electric stove and bought a portable butane stove, I don't think I'm ever going back. What do you all prefer cooking with?

Pans heat up in seconds now with much higher temperatures. I can control the heat better and can stir fry properly with a wok. Should've did this years ago. They gotta stop putting electric stoves in houses, trash.:camby:
I've had both. Electric when I lived in Texas and everything up here in Illinois was gas. I prefer gas personally as it seems to cook more evenly.
