Induction electric is the worst

Why you don't like induction? I've been eyeballing an induction range even though it's $4000

I got a couple cast iron pans that'll work on them.

Finally bushed my electric stove and bought a portable butane stove, I don't think I'm ever going back. What do you all prefer cooking with?

Pans heat up in seconds now with much higher temperatures. I can control the heat better and can stir fry properly with a wok. Should've did this years ago. They gotta stop putting electric stoves in houses, trash.

Haven't they started to ban butane and gas stoves in NY now? You may be on borrowed time

It heats the food super quick throwing all previous intuition out the window, I would have to get new pots to use on it. The gradient between the temps are weird and very sudden, so if I turned it up from 5 to 7 the jump in temp is not gradual which means your food is burnt before you even realise.
