They might get sued, but it's not their fault. There is no way to track every alligator in Florida. Disney's property is southwest of Orlando and is about half the size of the city itself. I guarantee they will have signs up about alligators everywhere so it's impossible for them to take blame again in the future.

I believe legally Disney probably had the no swimming signs there.

Plus, Disney probably did not want to irk tourist with children with dangerous gator signs.

The population of smaller animals would get out of hand like Racc00ns, Rabbits, etc, which can be pests. Those Gators are immune to venom from Rattlesnakes and can eat those without dying, so that's another population they control.... also smaller animals use there abandon gator holes to live in.


Lack of predators is part of the reason parts of Long Island have excess amount of Deer and have to have hunting seasons to trim the population down.
