This isn't being done to protect Jews, either. They're just exploiting Jewish identity as political cover to enforce authoritarian goals. It's already working too, and not only on our institutions, but on a very large number of Americans. Do you realize you are cheering on Trump's fear-based crackdowns and suppression of speech, not to mention their crackdowns on what can and can't be said or taught in schools and universities?
There are Jewish students in those protests. There are Jewish scholars critical of Israel. But instead of listening to them, the state is drawing a line using the old antisemitic trope of "good Jews" support the government of Israel, "bad Jews" criticize it and care about Palestinian rights. That doesn't benefit Jewish people. That's only reinforcing antisemitism through the "Jews secretly control everything" canard.
You say we have "enough problems here." But how are they more important than creeping authoritarianism, principles losing out to fear, and the suppression of dissent?

Telling someone to "go protest in their country of origin" is expected from a xenophobic bigot like you. You're completely missing the bigger picture and how this isn't just about one protester, or even one campus. This is all a calculated effort by the state to exploit fears of antisemitism in order to crush dissent, silence debate, and push institutions into submission.
