This is bullshytThe fact that with all the shyt that went down this summer, the music doesn't reflect it is telling. All we got was a half assed Lil Baby song and WAP. Ain't a soldier amongst this new breed
Lets see if they make tribute albums of them in the 2030s.
In the meantime, I'm still waiting for a tribute album or a basic cover of the Snap era![]()
Im waiting on Fabo's greatest hits.![]()
Anybody can do that, literally, my whole thing is, if these guys are genuinely making this music with hardly any effort, and we know they aren't because the comprehension level is lower elementary, then can we really say theyre great at it? More like they follow the formula and get choseMeld with the beat?
Most of the more popular rappers today are great at harmonizing with more "poppy" beats, and blending their flow with the beat. Some great examples are Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Baby. Trippie Redd is another one.
They're great at blending more melancholic topics (like depression, drug use, suicide, etc.) into hard-hitting songs, which is one of the reasons why the shyt that they say goes over so many heads. Juice, Mac Miller and Lil Peep all rapped about addiction and such, yet it still came as a surprise when they died.
Yep. Today's rappers are much more versatile. They can talk about more topics, while using a wide variety of flows. They don’t need Mariah Carey, R Kelly or Even Chris Brown or Beyoncé in order to make a song accessible outside of their core fans
They don't do shyt better and that is sad because things are supposed to improve.
and dude talking about harmonizing no they using autotune the right way lol
Of course anyone can. Hell, I could rap like Jay-Z or Ghostface, but it doesn't mean that I can do it on their level. I chose three rappers that I felt were the best at it.Anybody can do that, literally, my whole thing is, if these guys are genuinely making this music with hardly any effort, and we know they aren't because the comprehension level is lower elementary, then can we really say theyre great at it?
