camron spoke on it himself if memory serves me correctly…more or less said he dumbed down his lyrics for the audience
I fukks with Cam, but the lyrics didn't need dumbing down. They were never high level in the first place. 😄

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
although glimpses of it could be heard in purple haze, camron’s regression as a lyricist was obvious upon the release of killa season. the artist who once effortlessly floated over tracks became a barely comprehensible hack given to amateurish punchlines and a choppy flow.

not sure what happened. might have been the liquor and weed.

This is cap. Especially the Purple Haze part. He was actually MORE lyrical on Purple Haze than Come Home With Me.

You wilding Killa Season was a dope album. It could arguably be Cam best album.
nikka we been clowning Cam’ron’s rapping:stopitslime:

Ayooooooo :russ:

But nah I don’t get the Killa Season slander. That was a dope album from beginning to end. Lyrically on point and it was authentic. Not a bunch of try hard wanna be hit records. It was just Cam being Cam and I’d argue this was lyrically his best album after maybe SDE.

Come Home With me was not fukking with Killa Season :camby:
nikkas just got internet access in 2023:mjlol:

@1:50

Thank you. Killa Cam is one of the most lyrical tracks I can think of but people clown It all day cause they don't understand :salute:

Get em daddy remix was crazy too with the acronyms...I remember my dummy friends clowning that shyt 2 :snoop:

Cut the bullshyt.

ehhh the big L flow is nice here.... but I'm talking about albums.

I give Cam credit that even on his early shyt he was always creative with concepts.
But the lyrics was never too tough.

Ironically him and Dips ended up blowing cos of Heatmakerz/ Just Blaze/ Kanye production, pink clothing, swag and audacious interviews.

Cam was nice. Always was. And that wasn't a "Big L" flow. All of COC's flows derived from G Rap.
