Looks like Justice Jackson told him to get his rest.....

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on Friday froze, for now, a lower court order that required the Trump administration to swiftly provide full federal food benefits to roughly 42 million Americans.

The order from Jackson is temporary. She said it will give a federal appeals court more time to consider whether to provide the Trump administration with longer emergency relief while an appeal in the dispute over payments for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program moves forward.

- KJB and em see that Thomas/Roberts gonna keep siding with MAGA decisions, logic be damned when it comes to these “emergency” rulings


- but also the Roberts side, while on the leash to their long money right wing groups…..wanna try to avoid even being put in the position of having to cave to Trump / MAGA for as long as possible.



So punting the ball back to the lower courts because you know your own team is compromised and likely won’t do the correct thing and/or fears doing the correct thing out of MAGA backlash……..punt and it hope it blows over
