I believe that Great Britain is the name for the island which encompasses Wales, Scotland and England. Those aforementioned places are 'countries' of the United Kingdom. The official title for the union of countries of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland). A lot of Americans don't know those nuances. I'd hope that an American head of state would know, but y'all elected Bush - TWICE
