You know way more than me, but healthy/dynamic markets require stability right? with some, lets say, inflection points of chaos or excitement, so things don't become staid. (The Biden years)

But too much chaos brings uncertainty, and blindness to a degree, like you can't see what's coming anymore, and in an industry where so much rides on the ability to, to some degree of accuracy, predict, it creates timidness.

He is single handedly shutting down the IPO market which everyone was optimistic would reopen this year

No one is pricing and going to market with this kind of volatility.

Also management will be less inclined to do “transformative” M&A.
