So Geno doesn't get to start all the games his first two seasons and learn from his mistakes because he's a black QB and his coach was on the hot seat. And now he gets booed and his career is in jeopardy because he hasn't improved enough.

This isn't his fault.

New York has ruined his chance to develop. They gave bum ass Sanchez WAY too many chances and a ton of money. Geno can't even get a full season as the starter...

My wife, who was just getting into football, almost dropped my two-year-old son in disgust when they showed the replay. MetLife stadium Felt like it turned into a bad part of Brooklyn I was walking through. Jets fans were pissed off that they left home for Thanksgiving to watch the trash. Fights were happening in the stands, my wife and I left because you can sense the violence in the air. A few days later I saw this replay of that night which pretty much confirmed what I was feeling

Seriously though that disgusts me. And incessant booing and trash talking your own players is not harmless. Theyre human beings at the end of the day.

If im at my job and people are screaming that im pathetic,im not going to want to do my job.

How someone can say its harmless,like they arent human beings is beyond me.

Paying money doesnt give you the right to act like a piece of shyt.

Sure it doesnt matter to some players,others might use it as motivation but if people think it doesnt affect any players and is harmless

A lot of these players y'all think is bad are really not. It's just a lot of these coaches are stupid. They force their system on their players instead of adjusting it to their players.

Geno will never be in Brady Rodgers or manning league. He's not in that league but you can win with him. The offense he was running the last two years was not meant for him. He's not a west coast an by a long shot. Reading defenses audibling changing plays hot reading receivers is not his speciality l. He's done it before but not his strong suit. For Geno to succeed you have to keep the offense simple enough for him. Not too simple where he locks on one receiver but simple enough for him mentally. Chan Gailey offense similar to one he ran in west Virginia so we will see this year.

But y'all understate how dumb these coaches are. Look at Tom Coughlin and how he's trying turn Eli into this precise qb. Eli is not meant for west coast offense. Eli style is too unconventional for it. We big up Tom Brady now but imagine him on giants with Kevin gilbride. Tom Brady would fail because his strengths are not suited for that offense at all. Tom Brady is an who is very conventional l. Read defenses 3 step 5 step 7 step and throws to receiver if his first target not open he checks it down or find his 2nd target. Everything has to be precise and on time with Brady if not he tend a to have bad games.

I believe that coming out of a very simple spread college offense, on top of being black and having his coach on the hot seat, Geno isn't being given enough time to develop. The only successful QBs playing right now who came out of a spread system are Brees (took a few years), Rodgers (again a few years), Newton (a big running threat) and Mallet (took a few years). In other words, there are basically no great spread QBs who started playing well in their first couple of years outside of Cam (who is a physical running freak that can produce without great passing). Every other QB--like Brees and Rodgers--took a couple years to adjust to the NFL from the college spread. Geno, however, isn't getting the same time guys like Brees and Rodgers got.
