Most overrated team and fans in sports...haven't won shyt since 69 and they acting like they the defending champions...

The Jersey Jets are the clippers to The Giants Lakers

@NYC Rebel this the type of fans yall are breh. How are yall any different from Patriot fans :jbhmm:
:pacspit: at bof a y'all.

New York is the worst at letting young player develop :francis:
It comes down mostly to this. How many homegrown stars do we have in ANY of the major sports in recent memory? Finding legit talent is a crap shoot in and of itself, developing it is another. That difficulty is exacerbated when the hometown shyts on the athlete at every turn. We, as New Yorkers, have an entitled sense of fandom. We expect all our teams to be top 5 in all sports. When we aren't we lose our fukking minds. Look at what they were trying to do to Coughlin. You'd think that man would have a fukking golden ticket having delivered TWO superbowl wins in less than a decade, but no. Every year he's on the hot seat. Is there a racial element, most definitely; especially at the quarterback position, but it's deeper than just racism though.

you don't understand.

We've been fed game manager after game manager after game manager (other than the 1 year Favre experiment). We're tired of it, especially in a league where one great QB changes shyt (in that respect I see where @Trip comes from)

as for how the defense is structured, they're not going that route. We're burning first rounders every year on em. Snacks is the only UDFA who starts. We're giving David Harris $21 mil to run behind receivers yet Mo Wilkerson can't get an extension. I'm not saying we don't like defense; I'm saying we don't value the other side of the ball, and the strategy of "well hopefully the QB don't fukk up" is a flawed strategy.
the funniest shyt will be if you finally get a talented qb but with shytty talent around him and bad defense, he doesnt perform, you ship him somewhere, he sits behind an aaron rodgers or something, and then becomes pretty good. like steve young and tampa

every single great athlete playing in NY has been booed at some point or another. Eli, Lundquist, Jeter, Ewing...no one's exempt from booing. The booing of Geno isnt some strange phenomenon that this threads making it out to be...and at the end of the day its harmless.

fidning a good QB like you say you can basically pencil him in for 15 years. They rarely get hurt and theyre productive well into their 30's

btw reb I dont get some of your points here
any qb who is given much better receivers and better line, will do better than before. it doesnt matter who he is- matt flynn or geno or aaron rodgers. a qb isnt separate from the team, no shyt

we're all expecting geno to improve overall when the team around him improves, because, obviously a qb is part of a team. that doesnt necessarily means it will fix his decision-making, but if geno doesnt improve overall with a better offensive and defensive talent on the team, that would mean a major surprise. I mean, even trash qbs improve when teams improve. and pats went from good offense to historic offense with moss on board.

What did you do when you seen that buttfumble live? I wouldve walked away frok my s3ats if that happened to my squad.... was their injtial confusion in the crowd like wtf just happened?

My wife, who was just getting into football, almost dropped my two-year-old son in disgust when they showed the replay. MetLife stadium Felt like it turned into a bad part of Brooklyn I was walking through. Jets fans were pissed off that they left home for Thanksgiving to watch the trash. Fights were happening in the stands, my wife and I left because you can sense the violence in the air. A few days later I saw this replay of that night which pretty much confirmed what I was feeling

it could be geno for all we know. I mean, I doubt it very much, but its possible. qbs arent separate from the team. no qb short of hall of fame is able to carry shytty line, shytty receivers, shytty playcalling and compensate for shytty defense. you want that hall of famer qb, keep looking. something tells me aaron rodgers on the jets wouldnt be as succesful

They way the Jets are currently constructed they're not asking for Geno to carry them. They're asking him to protect the football, specifically in the redzone.

It's NY. A whiner's paradise, because you're guaranteed to see a loser in every sport
