#1[/URL] pick;4059593]Kerley, Hill, Holmes when he's back, and probably Edwards. Hill should be much better this upcoming year. Kerley is a good slot WR getting better and Holmes is a good WR. They have the
#8 best OL in the NFL last year and have added to that. Geno Smith is such a superior passer to Sanchez he will make them look a lot better than what they are. I watched WVU. I still am not sold on Austin like that. He's vastly undersized. He is not a playmaker in terms of making the catch like Desean. He isn't a good route runner. He is a solid route runner. He does most of his damage with the ball in his hands. That's easy to do when Geno is throwing you open but most QB's don't do that. Lucky for him, Bradford can to a degree but only when he has a clean pocket.
I personally think Austin is overrated. People gonna be disappointed with Austin. He's an uber athlete Randall Cobb to me without A-Rod throwing to him.
I like Bailey but he isn't an elite route runner, he is small, he doesn't get great separation, and but he can go up and get the ball. To me, he reminds me of Dyson when he was a Titan. I liked Dyson and I also like Bailey.
Geno made them nikkas mane. He made them. Geno makes nikkas much better because of his passing abilities. You don't have to get much separation with him at QB.
My issues with Geno:
a. Footwork like with every Air Raid QB. They all have shytty footwork. For example it is like Saban doesn't coached DB's to backpedaling and GT receivers are raw with good blocking and good skills with the ball in their hands.
b. His over-thinking at times in the pocket and he can over trust his arm.
c. His lack of game managing skills. He can't game manage for shyt. In the NFL, you need some game managing skills especially in close games.
Those are my biggest concerns with Smith. When it comes to pure passing the Football. He's a natural. Most of his inaccurate is due to footwork. With his throwing abilities and mobility, he will be more lethal stat wise than Wilson, RG3, and Luck. He needs to become a better game manager. He don't want to be Dan Marino 2.0 or Cam Newton at the end of the day.
