if there was a way to keep him as president but with absolutely no power :lawd:

Honestly I'm not sure if he was that stupid or it was a carefully planned act designed to infantilize him and make him more likeable. I mean look at this and tell me you're not a little suspicious.

An Eloquent George Bush? - YouTube

I mean the guy wasn't even a Texan in the slightest sense, he was from Connecticut. Look at his father and his fathers accent. How is it all of a sudden that his son is a yahoo rancher from the south who wears suede rancher jackets? I think it was all a carefully crafted PR ruse. By the time he had moved to Texas, he had already gone to Yale and then Harvard.

It was definitely calculated. Dude lost his first election because he allowed his opponent to characterize him as a carpetbagger out of touch Ivy Leaguer. Bush said himself that after that election, he would never let anyone out Texan him again.

With that said, I do think he became less articulate with age and that video is cherry picking. Education was one of Bush's pet causes when he was governor, so I'd expect him to speak more effectively about it than say Iraqi affairs.

:whoa: :whoa: i stated that i didn't agree with many of his policies...wanting to privatize social security for instance...no child left behind etc. that's actually one of the things i hated MOST about the previous admin. all the cuts to education and the arts they implemented. they decemated the the public school system. also i never said i was voting for jeb bush ...i said i'd "consider" it. i'd obviously need to hear his policies first ...which i haven't. i keep and open mind about him because i like the Bushes and he's open minded enough to have married interracially(his wife is mexican) which also reflects my union so i relate to that. BUT it's a not "certainty" that i'd vote for him. we'll see.

:childplease:

That and the Bush tax cuts were the only policies of his I could ride with.

I honestly dont even think anyone hates him anymore. Hes too damn likeable and also compared to modern day republicans hes not so bad.

I miss the days of Ludacris TI etc, middle school shenanigans and GEORGE BUSH.
