Damn. Maybe they should install thumb readers so pilots can open the door from outside?
Foul play?
autopilot still should've been on breh. I also read that there is a keypad and they have an emergency password they can use but that the pilot inside the cockpit can cancel the unlock that occurs 30 seconds after the emergency keypad password is entered.Pilot inside the cockpit couldve had a heart attack with the door locked, locked himself in and let it go down, etc. Well probably never know.
thats why I have panic attacks when I fly. I'm not going on there without enough xanax to knock me unconscious incase this shyt happens. If it was intentional that's really fukking crazy.if it was a suicide like a lot of people are speculating, the pilot would have had to incapacitate the stewardess inside there with him while the other pilot was away too. that combined with the terror of the pilot returning only to realize he is being locked out when the access code keeps getting rejected to the point of being driven to the desperation of trying to just bang on the door which is a sign of gradually succumbing to madness in that context makes this one of the most horrific events ever perhaps. thats the stuff of the nightmares you have where you wake up just before you die in it.autopilot still should've been on breh. They said they lost altitude and hit the ground for 8 minutes, imagine the sheer terror for 8 minutesthats why I have panic attacks when I fly. I'm not going on there without enough xanax to knock me unconscious incase this shyt happens. If it was intentional that's really fukking crazy.
Where are the critical thinkers to explain this?
I'm sure thekingsgenius can conjure an elaborate story with just the current informationIt can't be explained right now. Not enough information.
This is part of the FEMA plan to take our planes away.Where are the critical thinkers to explain this?

only problem with that i guess is people would be able to hack it :thernbroom:http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/flyingcheap/view/special.htmlif it was a suicide like a lot of people are speculating, the pilot would have had to incapacitate the stewardess inside there with him while the other pilot was away too. that combined with the terror of the pilot returning only to realize he is being locked out when the access code keeps getting rejected to the point of being driven to the desperation of trying to just bang on the door which is a sign of gradually succumbing to madness in that context makes this one of the most horrific events ever perhaps. thats the stuff of the nightmares you have where you wake up just before you die in it.
iv'e heard stories about pilots from people starting out in the field being over worked and the airlines pushing them to their limits. back to back flights, no rest, underpaid, etc. i remember feeling like the whole thing sounded like a terrible career to try to get into at the time.
