A nation of multiple interests each wanting the reigns of power and now armed with nice weapons. Before the Russian invasion the president of Ukraine was seeing dips in his popularity. They weren't all on board with him.

What happens if they start fighting internally? Putin can sit back, wait until they've worn eachother down, then give relief to the side he wants to win so they can take the country over and join russia.

Germany conquered Europe pretty easily though, they invaded Russia and made the same mistake Napolean did

Russia did most of the damage to Germany, people forget the US didn't get into the war until the very end of it

The US has never defeated a real military, a sovereign state in real war ever by itself

It was pretty much Japan, Germany, and Italy against the entire world, these are small ass countries, but they have the best engineering even till this day

so they had better tech the entire war, Germany even had Jet Fighters, the first ones ever towards the end of the war

Better tech better planes, better weapons doesn't mean you are going to win

a jet fighter from the 1980s can still shoot down a brand new billion dollar jet fighter lmao

missile defense systems render all that shyt useless anyway, technology as changed and so as warfare

There's a reason why United States kept bases in Germany and Japan, and made them sign treaties to prevent them from building up a military

US and UK (imperial Britain) are 1-1 in war, and we beat a (declining) imperial Spain. I think those are the strongest opponents the US ever faced solo, without counting the Confederate states. Every other war had a coalition of some kind or we were supported by at least 1 major ally.

The US did alot of the heavy lifting against Japan in WW2 Id definitely count that as well.
