So basically those who have positive perspectives of being integrated in Germany are less likely to commit crime. Who would've thought telling people they aren't welcome, have no opportunities, and stick them in the margins of society with no foreseeable resources would lead them to resort to crime?

Also the VAST MAJORITY of refugees and migrants never reach or intend to reach Europe. Vast majority are in another country in the South (Turkey is the country taht has received the biggest amount of refugees these past years if I'm not mistaken) because they're too weak to go on (happens when you come from a war-zone), don't have enough money to move on or don't want to leave too far from home. But there will always be a part that pushes further, no matter what Europe does.
