You should support whoever is better equipped to establish a free and modern society. The Palestinians don't fit the bill. Their society is too militant and regressive to be taken seriously, that is why the international community doesn't really do anything for them aside from mundanely condemning Israel every now and then like clockwork. It will take them at least another 100 years to get on the same level as sophistication as the Jews, but even that is contingent on them making the right choices going forward from now. You'll notice that I have readily accepted that there is yet much backwardness in India, but the difference is Indian culture enables and encourages forward progress. A future is already being paved where this will be left behind, and even then they are the result of setbacks suffered from foreign rule and occupation. But while you choose to revel in victimhood and beg your former oppressors for scraps from his table, Indians carve out their own destiny. Indians don't just talk about educating their children, they do it. Indians don't just talk about becoming a world power, they do it. Indians don't go to other countries and leech off the native population for food and board, the very idea is shameful for them. Instead Indians pool whatever little resources they have and transform them into small businesses and/or industries to provide for their families. That's true independence.
