But...if you were with a woman you loved...and someone said..."Hey do you want to enter a legally binding contract that says, in the event that you two decide to not want to be in a relationship anymore, she could be entitled to as much as half of everything you have? I agree with the last sentence (obvious). But that kind of argument can be applied to almost every major decision in life. If someone asked you if you want to eventually have a kid you would probably say yes.
But if someone asked you to give all of your time, dedication, and energy into another human being, while taking care of it for 18+ years. Would you say yes to that?
