nah they don't for sure but they can that's the point. we always assume these things are too far fetched but that's because it seems so out of bounds.
What Snowden exposed is that they were pressing these companies to hand over information and give them back door access to our everyday lives. Usually if the government has reason to surveil there should be paperwork for it. This wasn't the case. Don't be paranoid just be aware. Don't put your life all the way out here like nobody can touch you.
For heavens sake if you ever have to do some dirt do not have your phone on you or turned on. Not that i'm advising anyone on how to get away with crime just saying... be careful out here. Simple minded people get booked out here all the time just from googling shyt related to their crimes. "how to rob a bank" "where to hide a body"clowns be all up in court with their searches logged too dumb to realize the digital trail they leave behind now they in court tryna beat a murder while caught with a body and their last search is asking where to hide the body
.
Any picture you take has a gps location on it wether you know it or not. you can even go on google and track your movements in a given time period via gps and see a trail mapped out for where you went on foot or drove for a day week month etc. all this information is logged so when they arrest a breh and go for your devices know why...
sooo burner phones perhaps?..
