Y’all ever pay a credit card bill so long that you didn’t even care to look at what the outstanding balance is? :mjcry:
LOL Do you keep charging on it, or just a big balance you're still paying off?

I suck at credit cards and I'm not too proud to admit. I'll get that shyt down to zero and be online next week trying to buy a pony just because the balance is zero. I'm not responsible with it AT ALL

These damn student loans are from the devil:sadcam:

anyone got student loan tips in here?

i kinda just gave up on mine for the time being.

my interest rate isnt so high that refinancing would lower it, but its not so low that im able to really get a worthwhile amount directed to the principal each month with what i can afford to hit it with

im about to X out a few extra hundred a month in expenses tho by getting rid of my vehicle and the costs associated with that, so im trying to up the amount i can pay on it as much as i can now

if i can clear out this student loan debt i can start figuring out how to make this lil scrilla i got, become something :lupe:

Pro-tip: Get a separate account with a debit card and only use that card to pay off debt. Figure out how much debt you can pay down each paycheck and set up your direct deposit to go straight to that account. Come pay day, wake up, pay your debt and then put the card away until your next pay day.

It helps to keep your regular spending money way from your money to pay down debt.

Had about $6k of credit card debt in June. Down to about $3.5k right now. It feels nasty having this debt especially considering I have $7.5k of car debt down from $9k in October 2019.
SN: What method are you guys using to tackle debt? Are you using the snowball method or are you paying off the highest interest debt first? Or maybe a blended approach.

As long as I pay no interest its all good. Considering these are cash back cards I can't afford any interest.

Welcome man. Just keep at it.
No logic to mine. I just make the statement payment each month. I have like $2.5K in debt on 2 cards with 0% interest for a year and I pay $100 a month on both of them till I clear all my other cards then I'll aggressively pay the card that has $1000 on it first.

I'm back fukking with these credit cards. :snoop: I notice that these cards are getting aggressive with the cash back. I just got AMEX Blue. You get 6% cash back on groceries, 6% on streaming sites, 3% on gas. Then when you spend 1k in the first three months, you get a $250 statement credit. On top of that, You get crazy dumb deals like if you spend $200 on a certain hotel you get $50 statement credit. $5 back if you spend $10 or more in your neighborhood. The deals are endless. This card is dangerous. :sadcam:

But on the real I'll be responsible and pay it when I get paid. The worst thing you is pay it at the end of the month. I still don't think credit cards are a good idea at all. You have to be disciplined. After being over 30k in credit card debit in my 20's, I am more than disciplined now.
