All the praise Get Out received from white America makes me not really give a fukk. I'm always skeptical of black art that's praised by white people, because they never really appreciate anything that truly holds them to account. Get Out was a little too cute for me.

This, although it is kinda light on the comedic parts, they are still prominent.

Like the Lacross sticks, or the milk and all white suit, or his TSA friend.

Get Out wasn't funny...it's satirical horror movie like Scream.I think it was marketed as a comedy in order to get press initially and because a comedian wrote. The scenes that was marketed and used to showcase the film during it's promotional run, aren't really funny inside the movie as a whole.

The Golden Globes and the Oscars do not have a horror category.

For the Golden Globes there is only Musical/Comedy or Drama. And Drama just means everything that isn't a comedy.

Get Out has the same issue that Nurse Jackie has...
