That has more to do with how Curry is guarded and runs around. For instance, teams don't respect Lebron's shot the way they do Curry's so he has more space and time to see plays develop and set guys up.

Which is exactly why Bron's better at carrying role players to a higher seed. Curry's game only translates to wins when his shot is automatic. See this last month compared to earlier this season.

LeBron has been engaged defensively these last two seasons breh. Couple him with Draymond and Wiggins? That's tough. LeBron would do a better job of getting the others easy shots too. Bron has been a real leader of men for years now. Steph is more just the star of the show.

no he didnt even make the playoffs ij n the west before he got ad

So you're saying that LeBron carries teams better because his shot is worse? :skip:

Plus Curry is still a good passer, screen setter, and more importantly, he opens up for his team with the routes he runs, which aren't counted as stats.

Explain 2019 when LeBron's record was 27-28 when he had to carry a team in the West for the first time.

Decent looks from three and easy shots are not exactly the same. LeBron sees opportunities around the rim for easy bunnies too and can switch up the looks others get and cut down on his scoring according to how the team plays. Curry for the most part is concerned with getting hot himself first and be a PG second.

Have you seen this team try to finish layups??

Okay? Curry has missed 8 games and they are 1-7 in those games. 28-22 with him, not to mention games where he wasn't 100%. Plus this Warriors team had players with historically bad shooting to start the year. The Lakers squad around LeBron didn't.

The three best players on the team barely played together. The Lakers would have made the playoffs that season if they weren't so devastated by the injury bug. Lebron has won 60+ games on teams full of role players before.. not exactly the player whose floor raising capabilities should be questioned.

You realize that applies to Curry to this year, right? He has missed games, James Wiseman has missed games and is out for the whole season, Draymond Green has missed games, Oubre missed that Celtics game, etc..

But here's the difference:

When LeBron struggles or loses, it's "he didn't have enough help/his teammates were injured", but when Curry struggles or loses, it's "Curry can't carry teams".

My point is that it's silly to use the 2018-2019 Lakers for your argument when the starting lineup played like 20 games together. The Warriors have had decent injury luck, especially in comparison to that Lakers team.. Oubre, Curry, and Draymond have played more than 85% of the season and none of them missed an extended amount of time.

With that said, what Curry is doing with this team is phenomenal. He shouldn't get penalized for being on a shytty team.

:wow:

Side note: If refs called fouls like they should Steph would be shooting 15+ fts a night.

It's funny, the Warriors just tweeted this and wasn't called either

:mjlol:

U can openly talk about intentionally fouling Steph. That’s how comfortable defenders can be when defending bc they know the refs won’t call shyt :unimpressed:
