Sounds like a stand over gone wrong.
Nope. Most people rent to people on a personal basis.

Gonna be living rent free for 25 to life now
The hustling backwards if that was the case. That's facts, but people over extend themselves all the time. The landlord probably needed that rent to pay the mortgage on that house. The eviction process takes months. They could've been in danger of being foreclosed on.
That's dumb as hell.

Shoulda been playing this on the ride there to collect!Sad to admit that I agree with the Republican f@ggots but This is what happens when you have programs where government paying people's rent. Some people start to feel entitled to shyt they didn't earn and when you take it away they act crazy. That’s the problem with society. Toxic people think they are entitled to everything.
Honestly a landlord shouldn’t even be working like a slave to get rent due. Local government should.
Lowlives
Oh, I understand that scenario, just gotta be smart with it. This landlord misjudged and paid for it....literally.I mean yeah but there are many circumstances where someone moves out the house and gets another house and rents their last house out to pay for it instead of just letting it sit.
I mean I commend the landlord for giving someone a chance for a place to live. But some people are just scum.

I have this chick who be telling me her dad's situation in New York with tenants. When I'm ready to rent my house I'm getting a property management company even if they take 15% of the money in the process. I'll just raise the rent to offset that cost and call it a day. Renters end up paying the price for other renters antics.
Sad she lost her life over something easily handled through the courts.
