He’s a legit consultant though , I looked up his website. I aint taking all his advice but some of it cuz I aint gon flex, alotta that shyt is lame as hell. Some of it aint my personality either.
But the color schemes he brought up for brown and dark skinned men did wonders...royal blue black brown and gold look good....high yellow brehs pull of red alot better

Then u clearly do put an emphasis on fashion if u have ur own “style” and say ur better dressed than mostphysical and mental health are of the utmost importance. Frivilous shyt is way lower on the totem pole.
Don't get me wrong, I spent a lot in my late teens/ early 20s. I'm 28 now and couldn't fathom caring about clothes anymore.
And I'm still better dressed than most because of the old iron heart/ junya/ acronym shyt I have
And my style was developed over time, not a reproduction of what I saw some wierdo wearing in a YouTube video

I go for the minimalist look too. With that said, I think sneakers are actually a better look than a standard boot because everyone is doing the chukka/jean/chino/button-up/flannel look. And I maintain that any of the classics (1-14) are good for casual wear.
Some other thoughts:
-That cashmere sweater went with none of those jackets especially the one he had on
- good info about cologne; I'll admit I need to read up on that cuz I stay with the Polo Blue, but that's it
- Black blazers are for funerals, and no V-neck goes with a suit jacket/blazer ever
-Oxfords over every lace-up shoe displayed, espeacially the sideways ones
-Most of those boots were terrible
-Dress(y) shoes/jeans are never a good collab*
All in all, it's a decent starting point, but I think most of this should be taken with a Moon-sized grain of salt as it is very Eurocentric
*International bruhs get a pass
