Think chukka boots are a proper replacement for casual shoes brehs. If you're wearing those with jeans there's a 98% chance you think Chipotle is the go to spot for authentic Mexican food. :mjlol:

Can't take dude's style advice because of:
-How he's dressed in the thumbnail
-His obsession with Jordan's even though runners have been the forefront of street wear for a few years now, but since runners have a slightly less urban appeal, I guess they wouldn't get a mention.
:mjpls:
yeah dude's a clown

they used to diss sneakers now high society want in on the hype... this dated clown giving old ass advice. there's never one go to style at any given time just a general guideline. sneakers are not going anywhere.

do what represents you as a rule in fashion. dress for your body type. style at it's best is form meets function. know how to dress up and down for different occasions. avoid being overly trendy and be original by taking inspiration from and not biting others.

don't subscribe to these clown ass stylists and their rules

Jordan 11's are ugly as shyt. The only Jordans that should be worn casually past the age of 21 are 1's, 3's and 4's. Everything else is goofy looking

I go for the minimalist look too. With that said, I think sneakers are actually a better look than a standard boot because everyone is doing the chukka/jean/chino/button-up/flannel look. And I maintain that any of the classics (1-14) are good for casual wear.
Some other thoughts:
-That cashmere sweater went with none of those jackets especially the one he had on
- good info about cologne; I'll admit I need to read up on that cuz I stay with the Polo Blue, but that's it
- Black blazers are for funerals, and no V-neck goes with a suit jacket/blazer ever
-Oxfords over every lace-up shoe, espeacially the sideways ones
-Most of those boots were terrible
-Dress(y) shoes/jeans are never a good collab*
All in all, it's a decent starting point, but I think most of this should be taken with a Moon-sized grain of salt as it is very Eurocentric

*International bruhs get a pass

I 100% agree. I mix both so I stand out and not on either extremes

Im not doing either extremes...the “urban” look :mjpls:with biker jeans, designer belt graphic tee and jays or big logo/designer brand shirts

Or the effiminate looking nuthugging APC jeans + cashmere sweater w a scarf + chukka boots/chelsea boots+ Watch combo. Or even worse the dudes I see in magazines with bowties in suits during summer sweating they ass off. fukk that

A good mix of what I like so I dont bend to either extreme and I actually feel like it represents who I am.

Its the same reason I never got into the snapbacks/fitted trend...it was never “me”...now that trend died

@Hennessypapi You figured out how to take on that Florida weather yet?

Currently I’m going through a lil atheletic 90s phase combined with some current stuff

‘96 is my focal point but mainly making trainers my focal point with primary colours

What u supposed to wear as casual tho? Runners?
Common projects Achilles are the best casual minimalist shoe.

Keep em clean and fit them right and I’ve got more compliments on them then any of my J’s airmax/ultra boosts.
