I’m sure she got a great severance package, but it’s gotta hurt knowing she could’ve been CEO or close to it. While I don’t think she was in on it (she disclosed the business to Nike in 2018) I can’t believe she was this dumb to ignore the optics once it got big. Giving him the credit card was even dumber. No matter what the kid says, he was definitely getting discount codes and info from Nike.
At the end of the day, no one would’ve known about this if the kid didn’t want to do an interview for the cloud. He went full Sam Rothstein. Should’ve stayed in food and beverage.
Just because a bunch of people want sneakers doesn’t mean the culture is thriving. As @Kiyoshi-Dono mentioned, the cultural aspects of it are dead. A bunch of geeks and rich white kids using bots just to take pictures of a sneaker in a box and try and resell it to the next man. The actual people who are in it for the love of kicks and actually wear them are a lot fewer and far in between.But but but sneaker culture died.........only to lames it did....shyt is in full force and is not going anywhere....it's hilarious when people say that shyt....
