Getting into data science/data analytics...

Recent CS grad working somewhat in my field. Getting my AWS SA and dev by the end of the summer but Thinking of getting more into data science. Big data. Machine learning. Anybody got any experience in this. Know of any certs or training I should be looking to get?

CS? You might want to spend some time and begin learning Deep learning and Machine learning..

I've only done work in data science and data mining; Can't help on the certification you would be looking for but google with job posting sites with consistency in correlating information should be your number 1 bet to direct you in the right path.

I found a udemy machine learning with python course through torrents i want to go through before i start.

I haven't been in this field for a bit but if you are doing machine learning I would recommend you have to know:

1. Statistics - way beyond Stat 101 is better
2. Information theory
