I was literally making 42k doing a bullshyt job, I then went to grad school for 2 years and came out making 98K with a 30k signing bonus , now I’m currently making 135k....it changed my life, there were about 5 black folks in my class and we all had shyt jobs prior and are now over 6 figures working 40-45 hour weeks.

This is good but awful advice. To do this job long term is terrible advice and he is going to around losers who would love to see him stuck there for years on end. The guy says he live in Atlanta so there must be something wrong for him to be doing call center work with a college degree.

Again awful advice. Make supervisor? The people above him just going to give up their position? Why would they advance him in the first instead of hiring an already qualified person for the position? Listen if you in a rural area I can see this but in a major city why ? Warehouse work isn’t a career. Making minimum wage for years especially for a college grad to advance in warehouses is utterly stupid. Give this advice to a felon trying to turn his life around or the high school dropouts.

Honestly, I’m in this field. I’m even a sup, do I hate the job? It could be far better. In Chicago you work in below freezing conditions and hell like during heat waves. Im very familiar with the warehouse ins & having been with my company 4.5 yrs. However I’m in & out the CDL thread cause I know a lot about logistics & trucking companies... they work the same but others treat you better. I saw for the first time here someone suggesting him get his CDL and THAT. is what I should have said. If breh can stand long periods behind the wheel and time away from home. The payoff is there. But CDL drivers depending on where you go can wear on the body overall.

I had to have a similar talk with a kid calling my job trying to get in but he didn’t have his CDL yet. I explained to him the process that my job goes to even considering to hire guys who want to drive with us. I really don’t think the kid is going to bother cause it’s a bunch of bullshyt.

This, nikkas sleep on state,county,city jobs. Been applying to universities and government jobs like crazy. Them cushy benefits

nikkas like who?? Ain’t nobody sleeping on city, state, government, or college (almost typed coli ) jobs.


I tried for like a year and a half going downtown to take the test for the state jobs. But I never tested high enough and the military people get auto points for serving. I didn’t serve so, there goes me.

Same with the government, but the government is rarely hiring. And the jobs I was a shoe in for when I got out of high school were all phased out.

City jobs, are the same way as state jobs and i have to literally live in Chicago to get them. nikkas ain’t sleeping.

None, paid it off already, the reason I'm in this position is because I did my research , I didn't listen to the narrative that college will drown you in debt. Poor decision making will put you in debt. I'm not in stem or finance or medical, I essentially manage commercial contracts and do program management stuff for a fortune 500. Easy gig.
