If you gonna bust your ass, apply for an apprenticeship at your local union. You will get paid to learn a trade and when you become journeyman and have a living salary and full benefits/pension.

No able bodied black man should be doing manual labor for minimum wage. You better off buying a lawn mower and cutting yards.

It you apply for Amazon makes sure it’s the delivery station it’s literally the easiest job I ever had and I get out of work at 10am

They use to have me outside directing traffic for 5 months , I literally just sat in my car on YouTube 90% of the time lol

I see this job available "Seasonal Sortation Associate- Delivery Station" this is the good one?

Fun fact, when I left that's when they made a-lot of CCA'S regular. I was like if I just stayed lol :snoop:

But my health, personal life improved once I left that place. Can't put a dollar amount on that
It's better when you become regular their tsp 401k plan is the best I ever seen. They basically, watch what you put into And you got a pension. So when you retire you get a 401k check, a retirement check, and social security check. That's 3 checks not including everything you've earned and side investments.

You can't beat that, I know a-lot of the old timers put me on to game, and how to work the system to my advantage. I also knew the union handbook better than any of my union reps.

That's just advice to anyone wanting to join usps, read that manual.

I'm a supervisor for a large supply chain.

It's summer and the "big ass fans" are going. Still hot, got industrial fans everywhere.

I'm over production. The things I deal with on a daily basis is basically just managing people and inventory.

Biggest part is dealing with lazy people, gossip, attitudes, promiscuity, and endless amounts of tough guys and gangsters.

The work itself is easy as long as the temps and leads are not fukking up. Mostly computer work and accuracy. Also ensuring there's a steady and efficient flow of production.

If you have a business or IT related degree and REALLY SURE that you about this warehouse life... try a supervisor or above position. You easily earn 55k or above.

Prepare yourself for unfairness and discrimination in warehouses. There will be 18 year old white boys without degrees or training, in the exact same position you're in as a graduate... or white college grads earning 25% more than you.
Promiscuity/fukkery stories. :feedme:

If you have a high school diploma and work at a warehouse, walk up to your parents and scold them for raising a loser. I’ve worked warehouse jobs when I was 14 and again at 20 and it’s all illegals and ex convicts that work there. That’s the kinda job you get when you’re to prideful to work at Burger King or Target because you don’t want people who know you to see you
Warehouse jobs aren't bad if you need quick money, plus you can put in a lot of overtime and really stack ya paper.

From what I've noticed in my experience of working them, people get comfortable or at least comfortable within the confines of the job. Let's say they go from temp to hired, they still not making much but they making more than before.

Warehouse jobs long-term you gotta basically treat ya body like you're an athlete. Proper form when lifting, and it can really mess up ya knees long-term.. so you gotta be in the gym keeping ya body right.

Thank goodness I got my college degree and those days are behind me though. I feel it was a valuable experience, humbling, and I met a lot of great people.

Nope, and business...bachelors degrees dont mean shyt these days. I dont even get OT at the call center. Thats why im looking for a change.
Bro.. change up ya resume. Network, reach out to people in your school that can help you get a job in a business field, spice up your linkedin account, apply, apply, apply.

Getting a job without knowing someone in the company isn't easy. When did you graduate?
