I'm paranoid about that shyt.

38 in March. Remember I thought I was the man at 19 when I sometimes didn't get carded to go to clubs. Now kinda wish people still carded me.

:bryan:

It's not the so much getting older, it's that the opportunity to do some things in life has passed and I'll never get to do some things. Hope I age well too.

Opportunities like what?

All is dust. Once you learn that, you eat for today and take it all in. None of us were meant to last long in the grand scheme.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Naw i feel you.

Unlike a lot of my friends, i'm living ginwuine like bachelor. I always had this premonition that life was going to halt around 50 for me some reason (on some good die young kinda shiit, that's ridiculous... but you never know).

But i really get a kick out of and tomorrow, when it comes, is always a gift and you don't know what it has in store for you (that's what i look forward to daily like carson).

You know the crazy thing is; there was supposed to be a 20 year reunion for my highschool back in 2020. But for obvious reasons, it's been cancelled for two years consecutives.

Didn't go to my ten year, so i was really anxious for the double decade meet up. Ugh, and seeing my old crushes to see if they've aged like wine... or milk.

The wild thing is, not only do i look the same, i still act like i did 20 years ago. And i don't care to not change (and the only reason i'd stop posting here is cuz i'm deads).

But I love it like i love y'all.

This is 2022. Live it your bestest.

.

We're around the same age and yes time flies. Especially when you see fads that started with your generation come back again now you start to feel old.

I'll say, the older you get the older you come closer to death you start to think about things you want to accomplish...you start to think about things that seemed so big at first that are so insignificant.

It's such a overused phrase but live life to the fullest. We all get it but we don't actually do it. It resonates more with me as I get older. We hold ourselves back through fear. fukk all that shyt....we only have a limited time on here. Do your thing.

I feel you. I just turned 41 this past November. I still believe how fast time has flew and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. My son a senior and about to graduate, feels like yesterday I was picking him up in my arms. The only real downside I've been experiencing so far is everything around you that you grew up with starts coming to a end. Outside of that shyt been cool especially if physically your in good condition. So just enjoy the ride and do what you enjoy at this point.

For the most part, but my mom struggled financially so I wasn’t able to experience a lot of extracurricular activities or travel. I enjoy being able to afford those things now.
LOL, bro most adolescents didn’t travel lmaoooo
I remember growing up sometimes hearing white people talk about travelling here & there.
My parents were just trying to save though.
Then when I grew up my pops paid my student debt.
All because of that savings, parents really lived cheaply all for us kids :mjcry:
