This is right but alot of nikkas is cheap it costs more to buy exclusive rights to a beat than to buy a lease (on soundclick leases are sold for like $30 while exclusives are sold for like $300+) alot of nikkas is cheap like that. Also you gotta factor what if the local nikka aint pay for the beat, if I just give a nikka a free beat I damn sure aint going give them exclusive rights to it.

But to the op yea Im pretty sure this beat was 'jacked' (not necessarily stolen, Ross could have just copped the exclusive rights to it). I mean the transitions are like the exact same so its def not a case of two producers just using the same sample.
