He has more of a chance with winning the wc with england. Are jamaica even in the world cup lmao? Pretty sure they are one of the worst national football teams in the world.

If they have Sterling and a few other players they'd have a reasonable chance to qualify.

They were in this year's Gold Cup final..

I guess now if there's a coup we'll know who funded it.

Ghanaians better be ready to do like Turkey and stand up for their country.

So why are Pogba's brothers playing for Guinea? They love Guinea more than him?
:gucci:Maybe because they actually were born in Guinea
@Dip Raheem Sterling could have been a star for the Jamaican NT but he choose the eternally raggedy English team. :scust:

How are you a BORN Jamaican selling out to England? Self-hate. If he wanted glory it wouldn't be in England.
It would be nice for Jamaica to have him and other players in the diaspora but it’s not realistic

Jamaica doesn’t do enough to engage its diaspora and that’s their fault. I’m not even confident that they approached sterling for the senior team. We have a family friend of ours is involved with JFF and there are factions that do not want foreign players on the squad.

What did Turkey do? And why are you lionizing Turkey? Turks are racist as fukk towards black people. Worse than whites per general.

Don't know what you're talking about Turkey is awesome.

But staying on the topic. They tried to over throw the government, they organised a military coup but the civilians got on the streets and protested against the coup. Supporters of the sitting president AS WELL AS the opposition. They got out of the their houses and stood in front of the tanks and lined up the roads.

It was beautiful to see.

If you stand together no one can break you :francis:

Turkey is NOT awesome. Turks are terrible racists. There's a thread in the Coliseum alone where a Turkish soccer player calls a Black player the N word during a game. Not even the racist Europeans dare do that.

Besides, an overwhelming number of racists I have met in soccer forums have been Turkish.

You're either non black or a Somali.

You can't judge an entire country based on the actions of a random person :gucci:

As further proof of Turkey's flagrant anti black racism, you can just Google, "Turkish, racism, blacks", and read Turkish people saying Turkish people are racist.

You can google that about any country and get the same results :gucci:

I've been to Turkey and didn't experience any racism.

Jamaica didn't want Sterling? :comeon:

Pogba's brothers were born in Guinea but moved to France as infants.

Born in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, Pogba and his family moved to Roissy-en-Brie in France when he was only eight months old.

Therefore they have the same distancing as Paul.

They grew up in France but played for Guinea. Explain that.

Ah the big statement, no backup move. Do your thing.
You really want me to break down the situation in turkey for you? First off, who is "they" who wanted to organize a coup? Second, yes followers of the government and opposition both opposed the coup on the streets because of turkeys history of military rule, but since then the government used the excuse of the coup to destroy all opposition and turned into a fully fledged dictatorship. They forced tens of thousends of people out of their jobs and threw more or less the same amount of people in jail. They used the very same night of the coup to extralegally execute people in the opposition and
everybody who is not a supporter lives in fear now. And on top of that the countries economy sits on a mountain of private debt. People pay of their credit card bills with new credit cards creating an enormous credit bubble which will burst sooner or later and when it does the whole country will go down the drain. On top of that, turkey is engaged in a proxy war with iran, stirred up the conflict with the kurds for reasons of domestic politics and alieanated all of its neighbors to a point where it is now dependent on russia, to which it is basically a useful idiot and which has neither the resources nor cares enough to support turkey once shyt hits the fan politically and financially. Oh and of course, turkey has a history of chauvinist nationalism and racism. So no, it's not awesome and your example was, as i said, stupid :yeshrug:
