What they need from her is the complete narrative, from beginning to end, and corroborating evidence. How the money was made, how the 2007 plea agreement was done, if there was any illegality there, how the scheme, if there was a scheme worked, was there a conspiracy to blackmail, was there money laundering, was there bank fraud/tax fraud, she can lay out the entire portrait of criminality of Epstein's career, post 1995 or so.
Not sure how hard it would be to charge someone with committing a sex act with a minor, 20 years ago, but with at least two witnesses, (assuming Maxwell, and a victim talk) plus some sort of evidence about location, pictures, flight logs, cell phone records, something, that's a moderately strong case to bring. I wouldn't look for Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, to be charged, but if this goes to trial, the prosecutors will have a narrative to put together, and if she pleas, it may or may not be sealed, and depending on the US Attorneys discretion to lay out which and what details.
