But if a Young Thung fan say they understand him. They call u stupid for listening to him or say he wack. I’m glad I’m not a biased ass dikkrider. The man said he don’t know wtf he be saying. I could just imagine how this thread would be if it was newer artist saying shyt like that

That's not the same thing man.

Young Thug be auto tune yodeling/screeching and his fans say he's "unlocking flows". Across his entire discography.

Ghost did this on two songs off a 21 track album and people are talking about :damn: "'Supreme Clientele' makes no sense!".

Anybody that had trouble understanding "Child's Play" (or hell, 75% of Ghost's songs off any project) probably has a learning disability. :manny:

Sounds like stream of consciousness writing.

The sense it makes is the fact that it's coming off the top and you're not thinking about it. It's the true version of a freestyle. You rhyme by happenstance, only the connections that the mind makes to a rhyme. You can even accidentally rhyme then see later that the bar doesn't make sense but if you're not worried about 'sense' you can let it rock.

the wu the best balance of extremely dense vocabularies & still styling

peep this

Rappers, sorted by the size of their vocabulary

the cats at the extreme end of the vocabulary spectrum all get into rhyming just for the sport of rhyming

it's literally wordplay playing with words

wu at their peak was the best balance of giving that art at the highest level but still capturing the vibe of the streets

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
And Camp Lo was talking wild gibberish on their debut album, but guess what both that album and Supreme Clientele are classics. Ghostface out here inventing Seinfeld rap (raps about nothing).
Camp Lo weren’t talking gibberish. They had their own style/slang and mixed it with 70s slang. It was hard to follow but wasn’t gibberish.

Once again semantics.

Is mumbling really any better or different than gibberish?

mumble
[ muhm-buhl ]
verb (used without object), mum·bled, mum·bling.
to speak in a low indistinct manner, almost to an unintelligible extent; mutter.
verb (used with object), mum·bled, mum·bling.
to say or utter indistinctly, as with partly closed lips:
noun
a low, indistinct utterance or sound.

gibberish
[ jib-er-ish, gib- ]
noun
meaningless or unintelligible talk or writing.
talk or writing containing many obscure, pretentious, or technical words.

Again, if you can't understand the difference between two completely different words, the overall comprehension problem is likely mostly on you.

If it's dope it's dope. It's like the rap version of free jazz.

That was Surperb talking. Solomon Child even said that Perb had a huge influence on Ghost for SC and BPW

Naw, bro. Ghost sounded absolutely nothing like Superb on 95% of Supreme Clientele. Only little lines like "oooh, Rev ain't right...his church ain't right" sounded like some shyt Perb woulda said. That non sequitur style that makes up most of Supreme Clientele is all Ghosts' creation and sounds like nothing I've ever heard from Perb, or any other rapper. It's a Dennis Coles original.
