he starts out with the same long-distance strike, and if you ever whiff a strike with your weapon, be ready to dodge/parry because he's gonna attack you immediately

bounty master armor plus the charm of futsunushi (the charm that makes it easier to perfect parry and perfect dodge) are a must.

I played him on Lethal and every single hit is a one-hit KO. it's like the Gna on God of War Ragnarok, or Erlang on Wukong. It's gonna take some time.


EDIT: Erlang is prolly tougher than Takezo, but my point still stands

I already use all parry charms, it's always my favorite.

I haven't fought him yet. I don't think I'll fight him until maybe after I clap up the oni. Currently doing the ainu missions with granny goose.

I feel like Takezo is the true final boss of the game.

He was for me. I beat him after I finished the main game. Tough as hell on lethal, but it’s doable. One of my prouder trophies. It being a bronze is insulting

this is a good strategy. if you stay at a distance, he's always gonna do that quick slash, which is easy to perfect parry

most people get greedy and try and to land too many hits at once

Dude, bounty armor 4 life. But why is the dye selection so limited

It's a great game. Ghost of Tsushima is still superior. You're more connected to the characters, there's more historical significance and even though the combat is more versatile now with more weapons, for whatever reason, it isn't really more fulfilling. I can't say why yet.

Atsu was cool as a protagonist but if they chose to move OFF historical events regarding the main story and just came up with a personal story from scratch, they should've done better than they did.

I fukk with it, will platinum this too. But everything you liked in GoT is here in GoY, just not better. This made me want to go back and play as Jin now.

I was able to consistently bring him down to low health. I just made sure I had Sake on me and spammed spirit and disarm attacks.
