Maybe I don’t have the right weapons or skills unlocked, but this oni boss was just obnoxious. Throwing out attacks with the same start up animation but landing at different times like an off speed slider from a pitcher. Ok I’m just going to dodge instead of being frame perfect and fighting the input delay. Nope, just attacks over and over again with the speed being faster than the recovery of my animations. Impossible to just keep dodging 7 hit swings from a long ass odachi without getting clipped. Don’t get me started on the BS 2 second to react to disarming. Took me an hour and having suspend the duel to restock spirit to beat him. And apparently there are even worse bosses. I don’t remember GOT having these mechanical issues

Some of those glints come out a full 2 seconds before its actually time to parry.
This is my issue. That oni has two attacks where he revs up behind him very slowly. But the actually timing of the hits is different despite it being the same animation. You miss one parry it’s basically GG because you aren’t getting the two crazy fast follow ups. It’s just bad cheap game design
Go cry about itNaw shyt poster. I looked online for this exact reason(thinking maybe I was just trash) and this is apparently an issue even on hardMaybe I don’t have the right weapons or skills unlocked, but this oni boss was just obnoxious. You had to learn how to play a game.
You had to learn how to play a game. The color glints aren't an indicator of when the attack will hit, but what type of attack is coming and what you need to do in order to counter it. This is where a lot of ya'll bozos literally got the game fukked up. You still need to watch for when the actual weapon would connect.

Did I say that YOU were? This is not what I’m saying at all
Semantics now even tho Im clearly leading the discussion on the uneven parry windows. I don’t have time for sassiness brehDid I say that YOU were?
