Is it me or do standoff streaks not work?

I take out the first enemy and then the 2nd always hits me and I have to fight them regular, no matter which button I press.

I gotta be doing something wrong because I did this all the time in Tsushima

I haven’t started the main quest yet. I’ve been going around looking for alters to get skill points because she has no useful skills starting off.

I'm doing exactly that before I throw it back on lethal and continue the story.

I feel like you should've at least started with the 3 unlocks I mentioned. At least dodge roll lol.

yeah it's taking me double-digit number of tries to get it done. it's really tough

in Tsushima, i had all the upgrades so i didn't feel the weight of Lethal compared to starting with nothing and working your way up

Nah I remember Tsushima had this exact thing where the difficulty spikes to ridiculously unfair levels in duels when youre on lethal mode.

Your margin for error was like 1 hit and a couple heals for a 10 minute fight.

Lethal is low key way too hard, even hard the enemies are relentless, back 2 back crip and blood attacks. It’s like the closest they can actually get to jumping you.

Lord forbid they throw some Latin kings in there too and disarm you

Ngl, I had to turn the difficulty down to normal cause I was getting fukkED up

I was skeptical if the Bounty Hunter armor because it disables regular parries, but once them perfect parries start popping off

Best armor in the game, loved the Monkey Armor from last game

Also, the Kusarigama is so fun to use

Just be mindful of the no regular parries

My dumbass was trying to use the dual katana’s auto parry forgetting I had that armor on and was getting effed up

Fun to use but you can't go a whole game like that imo

Especially in duels where bosses have long combos

I cleared/unlocked a bunch of stuff thinking shyt was sweet.
