I read somewhere that Bill and Dan are producers now and have part rights to the series along with the OG Director (Ivan Reitman) son who directed Afterlife, and Ramis family. So they're invested in it now going forward.

I like the feel of this movie. It really feels like an episode of the animated series show which is not a bad thing at all.
