12 Years To Die just was a good idea but it just felt flat to me..has little to no replay value.
shyt, i'll listen to random songs off of Apollo Kids before i go back to that album.

Apollo Brown did a good enough job with his version though..but i think i only listened to it a few times.
need to go back to it.

that's the trick with making a big concept storytelling album with an over arching story like that. you have to make a cohesive album that tells a story with all the songs but you have to try to make it so each song has it's own replay value so you can just listen to it on shuffle or something. GKMC does that well but the storyline isn't as intricate & detailed as 12 Reasons. i think Prince Paul's Prince Of Thieves achieves the goal.
