Yeah, ABT is definitely a 4/5 for me. I actually gave Ghost a 4.25/5 in my review since the story is dope and the album just flows a little better for me.

Ay, I can't knock you giving it a 4.25 bro. It's a really, really nice album. The only reason I don't have it as my AOTY is because there really was some nice projects that dropped this year, a year full of mediocre projects. Ras Kass/Apollo, Freddie Gibbs/Madlib, Run the Jewels 2, Cormega...ALL DOPE albums. I think I'm leaning towards Pinata as my AOTY.

Agreed. I gave Pinata, Mega and Ras Kass/Apollo all 4.5/5s back when I wrote them up, but never got around to reviewing RTJ2. I really need to make time for that.

Yep. Both are at least 4/5 albums...regardless of the hate ABT is getting. Also, I think Ghost silenced most of the dude's crying "falloff" (mostly trolls). He did a good job on his verses on A Better Tomorrow, especially on Preachers Daughter and Miracle, and he dropped this exemplary album.

i hated on ABT after the first like 2 listens but its actually alot better than 8 Diagrams and at least comparable to Iron Flag. Album lacks a great song, but it also doesnt really have any terrible ones.

Well at least you gave it a few spins. I get the impression that most hating on it in that thread never even listened to it (a couple even admitted it), or before listening to it wanted to sh!t on it. I seen the EXACT same thing happened to 8 Diagrams right before it dropped. I knew that was gonna as soon as the articles started coming in about the Wu artists still not being happy with the project and the few mixed reviews. Cats who sat with the album and listened to it on a nice sound system or speakers will realize it's a solid album.
