Supreme Clientele magic wont ever be recaptured so I like the fact that he's trying to challenge himself and make albums that tell whole stories throughout


if anything his production choice fell off a little bit. I feel like with some better beats this can be classic

There's tracks on here with Ghost rapping where I genuinely thought he was Cappadonna.

Musically it's alright but god damn Ghost has lost all his spark, all sense of surreal lyricism and his gift for wild offcentre imagery is gone. He just raps like some random D Block weed carrier.

Some of the beats on here are absolutely terrific. Makes the sloppy stuff Adrian Younge does seem super obsolete. Like, these beats by the Revs with a co producer like Fizzy Wo or Malik Abdul Rahmaan are way better than the Adrian/DJ Premier beats on PHRyme or any Adrian/Rza collab.


Ghost still sounds off to me. This is depressing. Like is he reading off the paper or what? Then again Monch was off beat too. AZ had to super slow flow in a spot or 2 to stay on beat. Maybe it's this email the verses culture thats killing the flow pockets.
