After a few listens, I still really like it. The production can be a bit cutesy and cliche at times, but overall, the execution was good. It really pads Ghost's catalog perfectly. Of course, Ghost aint top form like others have said....he did kill a few verses though.

The only absolute cringing moments on here are Cappadonna saying "dead, dead, dead" fukking struggle bars personified!....and the first bit of "Catastrophe" is...odd....but the beat drop redeems that

Reading y'alls opinions, I really don't know what to think about this album. I'll listen to it on spotify on Tuesday, along with Kid Cudi's Indicud. I know one thing, if both albums are wack, which could possibly be the case based on y'alls reviews, I'll have one really bad fukking week next week

I'm still bumping this daily, god knows how many times i have heard it now.

But my opinion remains the same, this project is heat. I knew the typical supreme clientele, ghost aint spazzin, he old comments would come. Hate towards the production is just bizarre to me, but entirely predictable too.

I'll say this again, the production on this album is amazing. The concept is nice and of course Ghost gonna bless the tracks accordingly. The switch in pace of some of the songs is the whole point. Take I Declare War, its supposed to be building you up to the frenzy. When cobblestones follows that track, it makes you feel like sh*ts got outta hand. This album is one big production piece and it works perfectly.

Ghost repped on this album. Just not in the way you all wanted to hear, on some Ironman, Supreme clientele shyt. Deck killed his features as did Killa Sin and Masta Killa. I though Cap repped too ... i personally love that centre of attraction track but some dudes think its corny? I think the track funny as hell. I wasn't overly impress by U God though.

The problem is when someone as talented as Ghost, who has undeniable classics under their belt and one of the best discographies in the game period, they always gonna refer to that golden era. And when they try be a little creative, grow as an artist and change with time, it gets written off as below par or some kind of desperate reach. Nas suffers the same fate.

Your never gonna please everyone, of course. Me personally, i love this album....so lucky me!

On a finally note like most i am anticipating the brown tape too. But i just can't understand why most people think its gonna top this. Its going to take away from the whole point of the album in my opinion, it will sound nowhere as cohesive. But im sure some of the tracks will sound dope.

My problem is that flow wise and lyrically to a degree, Nas hasn't fallen off; many of his fans are more upset with his beat selection than the quality of his raps. Listen to Nasty, dude is still spitting crazy. Whereas Ghost's flow is almost completely gone on this album and he sounds off beat.

The album isn't bad, and I'm still giving it a chance. I respect the god Billy Ocean and you, and all the others who love this album; obviously we agree on most music related shyt, except this I guess. I just feel like I'm seeing my favorite rapper lose steam, dunno. Raekwon doesn't rap like he used to either for instance, but he has found a way to compensate with some dope writing and he selects beats that work with his new flow. Ghost sounds off here to me tho

the production is good

but ghost

and his lyrics is plain

ghost is in my top 5 overall but duke is slipping

@ cats STILL expecting some Nutmeg type off the wall abstract wordplay and lyricism on a concept/story album. once again, not every Ghost album has to be on some Supreme Clientele shyt, his storytelling has always been top notch, top 5-10 all time type shyt this is just that same style on a larger scale. did he have that crayz abstract non sensical wordplay in songs like All I Got Is You, Yolanda's House, Run or Shakey Dog?

and as a fan i just dont like it

the production is good
but just like he sounds on the Man with the Iron Fist soundtrack
he just sounds horrible

the 1st song on the album has him rhyming off beat

nikka i pre purchased the deluxe set
i was expecting it to be great

now i feel like it was a waste of money
