i wasnt that impressed off first listen. seemed dull. it was a first listen though. and i always give an OG benefit of the doubts. but just wasnt that enoyable. ill try again.

It seems there won't be a digital version of the tape, or it would have been out by now. They really going for that exclusivity of the tape then, which is cool imo.

Can someone tweet Adrian Younge or one of the people involved about that Rise of the GFK instrumental? It's a minor complaint, but I don't like it when shyt is not the way it's supposed to be. I'll mail Soul Temple music too.

Anyone tried to create a synopsis of the plot of the album? What I've got so far:
- Tony Starks was an assassin for the DeLuca crime family.
- At some point, Starks split from the DeLuca crime syndicate and has formed a crime family of his own.
- Starks has fallen in love with the daughter of the DeLuca godfather, Carmela.
- Carmela calls Starks to go out on some sort of date, but his fellow assassins are wary of her, as made clear by Cappa's screaming of "SHE'S A SET-UP CHICK"
- Starks doesn't heed the warnings of his fellow assassins, and goes out with Carmela.
- The fears of his fellow assassins are confirmed, as the date with Carmela was a set-up.
- The DeLuca family kills Starks, “pressing Tony’s remains into 12 vinyl records, one for each member of the family”, which allows him to take his revenge from beyond the grave.
- Starks resurrects as the Ghostface Killah, and goes on a murder spree, brutally killing all 12 members of the DeLuca crime family, fully exacting his revenge.

Had you heard anything by Adrian Younge previously? because I had and it was exactly how I expected it when I first heard it. thats why it didnt throw me for a loop. but for someone who never heard Younge before or knew what to expect, I could see exactly where you are coming from. its is short but that is a very minor complaint for me because the whole thing was good.
