I don't' understand why the Raptors HC isn't getting more heat for calling a timeout with 3:05 left in the game. Toronto was on a 12-2 run with Kawhi scoring 10 of the 12 points.. Curry misses a 3 and Nurse calls a timeout with Toronto up 103-97. The Warriors proceeded to go on a 9-0 run. Nurse's over coaching gave Curry/Thompson a chance to regroup and get some much needed rest. This was a classic case of over coaching.

And warriors only had one time out left, Nurse basically gifted them a timeout. When he did it, I was like word, thats a bit strange, but maybe he wants them to run out the clock...it was all round stupid.

Sometimes I wonder if coli would be better coaches than some of these guys :wow:

@GIL-Scott Heroin would be a lock for replacing Pop

the fact the warriors were desperate enough to a play a nikka with a partially torn Achilles tells me they dont believe they can beat the Raptors without KD. Both of their wins have been mini miracles.

Both of their wins have come with one of their stars leaving injured in game crazy

I remember Scott Brooks doing that in either game 1 or 2 in the OKC vs CAVS finals after KD hit like three 3s back-to-back-to-back. The CAVS got a breather and I'm like
:why: why DF would you ice ya man when he's on fire with like 2 minutes to go?!!

Of course the CAVS go on to win the game and finals.

Dumbass.

1) Game is Thursday.

2) Bogut should start, Looney for when they go small, and Boogie in short bursts for offense and rebounding. They can win that game if they just play defense.
Not sure why I said tonight instead of Thursday but anyway...

Bogut is good for 10 mins max. Looney will probably be on a minute restriction, and Dray at the 5 gets murdered against this team.

They have no choice but to hope they can get 30 good minutes from Boogie. Gasol, Siakam and Ibaka are killing them inside

Raps would've been Champs already if they got this call right

NBA: Gasol was fouled in last minute of Game 5
Associated Press8:30 PM ET
1 Minute Read

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The NBA said the Toronto Raptors' Marc Gasol should have been given two free throws with 49 seconds left of Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Toronto, a game that the Raptors lost to the Golden State Warriors by one point on Monday.

Gasol was fouled by the Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins on a drive, the NBA said in its Last Two Minute Report that was issued Tuesday. Gasol missed the shot and tumbled to the floor, but no foul was called.

Golden State led 106-103 at the time. The Warriors wound up prevailing 106-105, staving off elimination and sending the series back to Oracle Arena for Game 6 on Thursday night.

The NBA said Cousins moved into Gasol, "initiating contact that affects his driving shot attempt."
