Houston was content to let KD get his vs Gordon and CP3 on the switch, so yes, KD feasted, and the series was still 2-2 vs Houston and 7 games last year :manny:

Houston had undersized PJ Tucker, Raptors have Kawhi. Also Capela and Faried were unplayable but Gasol and Ibaka are effective. Houston didn't have Beverly, they depended on Austin Rivers autistic ass to guard Steph lol. They wish they had a light skin nygga like FVV.

Curry was the sole focus last night and dropped a great game of 47pts on 30 tough shots, the game before he was 6 for 17, then 8 for 18 in game 1 loss. So who knows how he'll be tonight, but we know how the Warriors are (or were) with a healthy KD.

So idk, I can't just use some composite version of the Warriors with all their strengths and none of their weakness when we've already objectively seen them healthy vs teams comparable or worse than this Raptors squad..

But again, moot point now. Ppl will believe what they want

Houston essentially had the same team this year and couldn't even reach 7 games at home against a warriors team who just lost KD and had lingering injuries to their starters all season. Even in this Finals series, when Klay got injured, it took Toronto going to a Box and 1 style defense to make the waning quarter close. Whatever ball movement demons GS had against Houston last year, they don't seem to have the same problems this year in the playoffs. Against Toronto, It just looks like GS is running a depleted team against a healthier team(I know Kawhi is banged up), more so than the opposing team taking it to them like Houston did in 2018. When you gotta go deep in your bench and give Jerebko, and Cook exteded minutes as opposed to Klay, KD, and even Looney getting those minutes, than things are just that much easier. Ppl saying Toronto should be up 3-0? Well, yeah....considering the circumstances.

I feel ya but again, Houston bytched up and had people saying they should've been up 3-1 this year because of how game 1 ended with the 3pa non fouls. I was of the opinion of no excuses and no relying on refs. All 6 games were decided by 6 or less points, so it's not about it not going 7... it's about it being 2-2, and a 1-2 posession game when KD got hurt, and Rockets bytching up bc they couldn't guard GSW offense once it became Curry centric.

In truth, once KD got hurt, Rockets best defense was getting Steph in foul trouble in game 6. But then they couldn't guard Klay. (Really, he hit tough shots and Rockets couldn't rebound). Then Steph came in and same x2.

What that says about Warriors offensive with vs without KD, idk. I don't think they're better without him tho, bc this offense they run is reliant on Klay/Steph hitting some tough shots over duration and their supporting cast killing it on the boards.

Which is what makes tonight interesting imo
