How is this a role player?

Green finished one assist shy of a fourth straight triple-double on Sunday and contributed in all phases of the game with a big stat line that's become typical of his play as of late. Over the last five games, he's averaged 14.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.8 steals, making him a must-play in daily formats.

Teams have been designing/employing schemes to get the ball out of Steph's hands, or stopping him from getting it, all over the court, for the last half a decade. No player in the history of the game has had to deal with this degree of defensive attention, and yet muh'fukkas still find a way to devalue the impact he has on a game.

Iggy doing the Lord's work protecting his legacy.

And yet they didn’t score for 5 minutes in the 4th...

These Raptors are by far the best defensive team the Dubs have faced in the Finals these last 4 years.

They've only faced the Cavs in the finals so I dont know what you're trying to say :what:

This Raps team isnt the best defensive team they've had to face in the playoffs either in the last 4 years that would probably be '16 OKC or '15 Grizzlies

If this clown ever had to deal with 1/10th of defensive attention prime Jordan got, he'd quit midgame and go cry in his fat wife's arms

Nice game today, he was like 6/20 or something?

Congratulations to Klay on his 2019 Finals MVP

It was Houston last season. The Raps are close though

Curry gets fouled almost every possession the way the Raps defend him. Gasol mauled him all last game and never got called once for it and there was a possession tonight were VanFleet literally shoved him to the ground under the basket surrounded by the refs and got away with it. And Curry still dominated them clowns regardless; slashed the deficit in the 2nd to set up the 3rd quarter beatdown while basically giving his team 10+ different WIDE OPEN looks from how desperately Nurse was trying to trap him. Didn't work cause Curry is the opposite of LeBron in big games like this; instead of dominating possession to jack up stats he will gladly surrender the ball over and over, to inferior ball handlers no less, to go make a screen assist that doesn't show up on any stat sheet allowing a roleplayer like Cook or Iggy to make a wide open 3. Will be criminal if he's robbed of FMVP; only way it shouldn't happen is if GS loses or KD averages literally 50 PPG coming off injury to finish the series.

Yes they’ve only faced the Cavs but each year those teams weren’t carbon copies of the year before.

GS faced the

21st ranked defense Rd1

18th ranked defense Rd2

16th ranked defense Rd3

So far in 2019.

Raptors rank 5th in 2018-19.

Cavs last 4 finals ranked 29th (2018), 21st (2017), 9th (2016 Cavs won), 18th (2015) in defense.

Funny you mention the 2015 Grizzlies and 2016 SuperSonics. Gasol and Ibaka were on those teams and are now Raptors. The defensive dynamics and rebounding from those teams have translated with the Raptors :sas2:

I think teams have found Kawhi's "Achilles Heel" his passing. Dude is a horrible passer not that he doesn't have the vision but his passing mechanics are just terrible.

Not sure if it was talked about but Lowry had a bad game because he got taken out early by the soft calls these refs called.

Raptors had an opportunity to win the game in the 4th but they got Cooked give credit where it's due. Iggy hit some big 3s. Also I felt Draymond hesitated he needs to shoot the 3 sometimes when it is given to him.

I still think the raptors will get one of the games in Oakland. Warriors could win in 6 or it might go to game 7 which could be a toss up even with KD playing.

I dont really buy into the idea that his "passing mechanics" are terrible. Its really his vision.

When he gets doubled at the top of the key or the elbow you can telegraph where hes going with the ball because he does not and has not dumped it inside, he always looks to pass behind the 3 point line, in hopes of an open shooter or swinging it to an open shooter. Once you realize that hes not reading the defense it makes it easier to defend.

Why even lie like this? Like seriously? What is the end goal for you here? You can't take these ducktales with you when you leave this world....

:jbhmm:

Or perhaps you truly believe this (which would make more sense), since you don't know shyt all about the game.
