He will never play enough games, and his injury cannot be fixed. Plus the raps were 17-5 without him.
Yeah I agree. Even still, if he never wins an MVP - 2 FMVP & 2 DPOY is a pretty :wow: career and legacy. Curious to see how far he takes rest of his career

Kawhi winning a title as the unquestioned main piece really puts him into an interesting all time trajectory. Will be his second title and second FMVP. Also has 2 DPOYs, will end up with plenty of all nba teams.. he’s going to walk into next season as the MVP favorite too now imo, but will he play enough games?

If he stays in Toronto they will probably have him on a similar rest schedule to this season.

He'll be an MVP favorite for as long as he wants but like yall mentioned, will he be able to play enough games for it? And will he care to try?

Personally, i think he wants one reg mvp. It's the most coveted award outside of a championship/Finals MVP combo, and its the one big thing he hasn't won. It may not be next season but he's 27 years old, so i think at some point he's going to give it a go to be great a full 75+ games to win that ho.

Once he does that, he can pretty much "load management" the rest of his career and just focus on stacking championships and Finals MVPs... and he'll skyrocket up the all time list if he's successful in that regard.

He lying. 74 meant breaking the warriors record, not the total number of wins:mjgrin:
