This is it. When they were rolling the Warriors often looked smoother and better without KD. But he was always the trump card. Without KD there's the chance that someone can figure them out and disrupt their flow. With KD there will be ball-stopping, poorer offensive flow, the team doesn't look as happy....but they're winning on pure superiority of talent and there's just very little you can do.

And golden state currently has only two offensive threats who carry the load. As good as klay is he doesn't create his own shot on isos. And curry mostly gets his on off ball. So i actually think the box and one defense they are playing when klay is out is smart. Raptors wouldn't win with KD out there and a more spread offense.

Small ball is also being killed because draymond can't match up against Ibaka or gasol. You saw how ibaka went off in the pick and roll? Dude was 9/12 at some point with 20 points in 20 minutes. Again luck is on torontos side because cousins is out.

But golden state still has no excuse because they have three future hall of famers. Two of the greatest shooters ever one of which is supposed to be the best player in the world. This is essentially the 73 win team without Barnes and they are getting exposed by teams with good Cs

Raptors have frontcourt players who MAKE PLAYS. Not just catch and shoot. Rockets had Tucker and Capela, Blazers- Aminu and Harkless.

They are pushing the pace after made GS baskets and getting it back. And they aren't scared of the Warriors at all. They've looked confident that they are the better team since game 1, and they are proving it. They've all adopted the quiet determination of KL.
