Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Is Murray a good defender though? Watched him play and dude looks like he'd be a sloth at the NBA level, as far as athleticism and explosiveness goes. And Dunn has too much young Wade syndrome, I don't know if he's much of a shooter. Great slasher though.

Hield though. :banderas:

Think the question of whether they can defend the 1 at the NBA level could be asked of Hield as well, Dunn is really the only PG/Combo guard that looks like he will be able to be a + defender in the NBA, but we'll have to wait and see.

They may want a big man in the draft, supposedly they like Ellenson.

Kidd has been wanting Giannis to be the PG from the jump.

Kidd pushed for MCW, and apparently has a man crush on Rubio :scust:

Minnesota may start canvassing the market for a better shooting point guard to pair with young stars Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins. One NBA coach who has long been enamored with Rubio, league sources said: Milwaukee's Jason Kidd. The New York Knicks' desire to find a point guard could lead them to Rubio, too.

If he wanted him to be PG, why did it take a season ending injury to MCW for him to take over ball handling duties? And why the interest in Rubio? You've got a 6'11" Point forward on the team, let him be great.

I think the front office would veto him trying to get rubio at least:huhldup:

League sources tho, Kidd was trying to make Gianinis PG since last year even tried to Gary Payton to teach him a few things

I know Knight is hardly great and has plenty of deficiencies of his own, but trading him even though he was a perfect fit for the team(and doing great in his role) was one of the dumbest moves I've seen.

They didn't want to max him, plus it's easy to find pgs like Knight for the cheap(Brandon Jennings and Teague will be FA's soon).

Woj reported that, it's not Broussard league sources, and I can see why he'd like Rubio so much because he reminds him of himself. I remember he played him at PG in summer league then just abandoned it when the season started, now it took an injury to MCW for him to finally allow Giannis to do it this year.

The last 10 games those dudes have figured out how to play with one another -

Giannis -
19.6ppg
11.1rpg
7.1apg
2.0bpg
1.6spg
47%

Middleton -
22.7ppg
4.7apg
4.3rpg
3.1spg
45%

Jabari -
21.4ppg
7.2rpg
3.0apg
1.2spg
53%

Just :mindblown: at how well those 3 work as a trio, their skills don't overlap and they don't need a PG because all are capable passers. Just get a PG that can shoot and defend and they are cooking something serious, probably the most talented young trio in the league.

@Gil Scott-Heroin Do you think Kidd is gonna fukk this up pushing for another PG that cant shoot?
Yeah, they're figuring it out, and it's been fun as hell to watch. Monroe signing is turning out to be a gift and a curse. Bad, because damn, he's REALLY bad on defense, and he's pointless on offense as he just gets in the way of Jabari and Giannis (when he's on the floor with them). Good because it can potentially only be a 2-year deal (assuming he keeps coming off the bench and wants out). He HAS been good coming off the bench, but paying $17m for that is just...ugh.

As far as the draft, man do I want Hield. Perfect fit for us. Haven't watched too much of Murray yet. I think Vaughn can turn into a nice shooting option too, just needs more confidence, and to adjust to the league. Right now he just seems scared whenever he gets the ball in a non-shooting situation. Kid is still only 19, so that's kind of to be expected. All the injuries have kind of forced Kidd to play him more than I'm sure was planned, which I don't mind at all considering how our season turned out. Let him get some experience early. Can only help going forward.

I dont really follow college bball but any good Center or shooting PG is good enough, watch Kidd want Gary Payton 2 :mjlol:

Do you want OJ Mayo back? @FloorGeneral

Only if it's cheap. It's weird to say, but I kinda like the leadership he's shown this year, but his on-court performance has been erratic. He's always dapping up teammates, trying to talk them up if they do something wrong. It's nice to see. However, he's playing WAY too aggressive, committing stupid fouls on the defensive end. I kinda wanna blame Kidd for that, as I'm sure he's pushing that style on the players, and Mayo is just following the directive, but damn, some of the fouls are just dumb. And unless he's shooting from the top, I assume anything he throws up is a miss.

They have it figured out as long as there's a floor spacer at the 1, which is why Bayless & Mayo have done better for them than MCW. I think your management has to see that getting a PG like Rubio there would be a disaster, right? I actually like Monroe off the bench, he's not bad in that role and he's scoring with ease against second units to be honest.

I don't know if I trust Kidd to think outside the box, you all have the makings of a truly special team, especially if you draft properly you could do a lot of the weird mismatches that GS does, especially when Giannis gets a little stronger next year you could try experimenting with him at Center for a few minutes in lineups like (PG), Vaughn, Middleton, Parker, Giannis. I know Hield can shoot and score, but I wonder if he'll be able to defend the 1 at the NBA level, he would be a great fit though mainly because his lack of an elite handle wouldn't be an issue on your team, just can he defend. I read you all like Ellenson as well, makes sense since he's a local kid that plays in state, and he can hit the three while playing the 5, I just wouldn't draft him over (Dunn, Murray or Hield) considering what you all need and the fact there are some FA centers that could help you.

Get a 3and D PG and C that can defend and they'll be a problem for a decade at least

Yeah, I'm not sold on Kidd. I think it's pretty clear that he's got his sights set higher than coach (wants to be in the front office), and he's trying to force his vision onto everyone. Only thing is I think the owners are seeing that, and are adjusting accordingly. I'm 100% certain the interest in Rubio is all Kidd, and the fact that he's not here is probably due to the owners shutting it down. I have zero doubt that he (Kidd) would've given up Middleton for Rubio, and that scares the shyt outta me. You can say what you will about bringing in MCW for Knight, but atleast there was a semi-sensible (even if it was an excuse) reason for it (not wanting to max out both he and Middleton), but giving up a player like Khris for Rubio? Who does that? Kidd's abrasive style is gonna end up costing him in the long run I think. We shall see.

He has no place in the FO if he's pushing for a Rubio trade on a team that needs shooting at the 1, dude just likes PG's that remind him of himself. That's the old rigid way of thinking, the three of those guys you have now don't need some micromanaging PG running every last set for them.

Team with a future, them and the Jazz

But since neither have Russell it's not gonna end well :francis:

You forgot another team with a bright future :mjpls:
