Not sure what the lockout has to do with things. It's not like he's going to be paid while it's going on. And I doubt any changes to the CBA would affect him significantly.

i think whoever his agent is did right by him , guarantee him a solid income for next 4 years and he still young enough to get a better deal down the line. fact of the matter is we not gonna be able to watch hoops next october/nov

You're right he won't get paid but he has the added security right now. If he gets hurt, he won't need to worry about entering the market after the lockout ends
